Public input sought on proposals for new high school borders
Special to The SCORE
The
committee reviewing Rio Rancho Public Schools attendance boundaries
will bring two high school boundary options forward for public review
will seek public input and comment on Tuesday.
The boundary committee has been developing options for attendance boundaries for Rio Rancho High School and the new V. Sue Cleveland
High School, which is scheduled to open in 2009. The committee’s
“Sharing and Listening” sessions will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at
Enchanted Hills Elementary School and at 6:30 p.m. at Rio Rancho
Mid-High School. Parents and the public are welcome.
The
60-member boundary committee includes parents and staff from all grade
levels, a board representative, community representatives, and
district-level staff. The committee has been meeting through much of
November, and its work to date led to the development of options for
presentation to the public.
